Artek Dialogs Annual Educational Forum

In the modern globalized world, it is impossible to secure a nation’s or country’s competitiveness within the global community without onward steps toward modernizing the education, since education, starting from nursery schools to life-long education, is a key to success in the global economy and global development in general.

Working out a flexible and viable strategy of the education of the future would be impossible without active participation of the educational system representatives. This idea, conceived and discussed at the Human Rebirth, Revival, and Development Second International Humanitarian Forum in 2007, laid the basis for a new area in the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s activities. To create a ground for discussing urgent issues and problems of education, the Ukraine 3000 Foundation initiated the Artek Dialogs Annual Educational Forum.

The Forum envisages annual meetings of representatives from Ukrainian and Foreign state and non-governmental organizations, pedagogues from various countries to analyze modern trends in the developments of educational technologies, working out recommendations for the mechanism of forming an effective national and global educational space.

The Artek Dialogs Forum was held from September 18 to 21. It featured six sessions and two meetings of the Youth Assembly. Additionally, presentations of charitable programs, educational centers and technologies, and social projects were held. Almost 350 representatives of the educational community, international institutions, business, public, youth, and charitable organizations from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Germany, and Turkey took part in its work.
