The Ukraine 3000 Fund Announces Second Journalists Contest for Best Coverage of the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in UkraineIn connection with the 75th anniversary of the Holodomor Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, as part of its History Lessons: Holodomor of 1932-1933 program, announces annual Journalists Contest for Best Coverage of Holodomor. The contest will continue throughout year 2007. Staff journalists and freelancers with printed media, television, and radio channels are invited to participate. The condition for participation in the contest is publishing in printed media or aired on TV or on the radio from November 28, 2006, till November 24, 2007, of TWO or more materials authored or co-authored by the participant. The winners will receive money prizes. Most active participants will be awarded mementos and encouraging prizes. The results will be summarized and announced on December 24.
