Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation partake in the memorial events to observe the Ukrainian Holodomor Remembrance Day

The memorial events started with a mourning procession from the metro station Arsenalna towards the Memorial to the Victims of Holodomor in Ukraine National Museum. The mourners carried candles with black ribbons and the names of children who fell victims of the genocide of 1932-1933.  »»

Ukraine 3000 Foundation supported the international conference “Collaboration between the USSR and Germany in the Interwar Period and during World War II: Reasons and Results”

The conference reports focused on the typology of totalitarian regimes, the relationship between the Third Reich and the USSR prior to World War II, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the search for a separate peace treaty before 1943. The comparative analysis of the nazi and communist policies, namely genocides, repressions and war crimes, was performed. Various aspects of geopolitics of the period were studied. The similarities between nazism and communist ideologies were analysed, the attempts to falsify the history of World War II were discussed etc.  »»

It has become a tradition for the Ukraine 3000 Foundation to present the “Award for Development of National Cinematograph” during the Molodist Festival closing award ceremony. A bronze statuette in form of clapping hands is being awarded to the most acclaimed film professionals who made a considerable contribution to the affirmance of Ukrainian cinema around the world.  »»

The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation passed 180 copies of the collection of musical scores Dances, solos and ensembles to award the participants of the V International children’s competition for Young Bandura Players Volyn kobzaryk. The opening of the 41 Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival takes place

On October 30 during the closing and awarding ceremony the Ukraine 3000 Foundation will present the Special Award for the Development of National Cinematograph – since 2003 the award celebrates prominent filmmakers who made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian cinema.  »»

The book “In the net of two “zarkytky”by Olga Ilkiv comes out with the assistance of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation

The collection of poems was published by Kamenyar publishing house with the assistance of the Ukraine 3000 Charitable Foundation. Part of the publishing cost was covered by the city in the framework of the project for support of book publishing in Ukrainian language. The foreword was written by Yuriy Shukhevych. The book comes out with a song CD “The rebel tango” with lyrics by Olga Ilkiv.  »»

Ukrainian museum workers on set out for a study trip to Poland

The study trip is organized by the Polish Institute in Kyiv in the frame of the Competition for the Best Museum Project targeted at fostering Polish-Ukrainian intercultural dialogue. The competition was announced in the frame of the Program of Support for Museum Workers 2011-2012 and the All-Ukrainian “Museum of the year – 2010”, the joint event of the ICF “Ukraine 3000” and the “Ukrainian Center for Museum Development” CO in spring 2011.  »»

Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation attend the opening of the exhibition “Bells of Memory Set into Motion” by Valery Franchuk

The cycle “Bells of Memory Set into Motion” features 126 art works created by the painter over 13 years. The central images of the pictures were inspired by the stories of the artists’ mother, Mariya Brnislavivna, the survivor of Ukrainian famine. The exhibition showcases 68 pieces donated to the museum by their creator.  »»
