Winners of For You, Ukraine! Literary and Arts Competition Receive Prizes from Ukraine 3000 Foundation

The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation granted a set of 50 books to the prize fund of the For You, Ukraine! literary and arts competition for Ukrainian youth. The set includes the following books: Ukraine’s Hetmans, Renowned Ukrainians, Amazing Ukraine, and Ukraine’s Wildlife.

The awards ceremony took place at the Lviv Solomiya Krushelnytska National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater as part of the opening ceremony of the Third International Congress, Diaspora as a Factor of Giving a Role to Ukraine in International Community: current dimension and prospects for the future, held in Lviv June 23-25, 2010. Among the participants of the Congress were 400 representatives of Ukrainian diaspora from 28 countries and Ukraine’s oblasts.

The competition took place in September 2009 – May 2010. The winners’ works are just another evidence of the talent, gifts, and patriotic spirit of the young people willing to help in the building of the Ukrainian state.
