Sixth Art Alternative Theater Festival-Laboratory to Be Held in Donetsk
May 21-23, Donetsk will host the Sixth Art Alternative Theater Festival-Laboratory. It will be held as a part of Metropolitan Donetsk city club’s project, winning a grant from Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation in this year’s Program to Support Small Culture and Art Projects.
This year’s festival celebrates founding fathers of the 20th century theater and new directors and performers, shaping up the face of the 21st century theater.
The festival will be held at Volodymyr Nemyrovych-Danchenko memorial estate (Neskuchne village, Donetsk oblast). Renowned performers will render onstage plays by modern playwrights.
The Sixth Art Alternative Festival will feature master classes for young theater lovers.
