Ukraine 3000 Foundation Donates Books to National Children’s Library of Ukraine
March 19, 2010, the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation donated a set of children’s book to the National Children’s Library of Ukraine as part of its Ukraine: Step by Step program.
The National Children’s Library of Ukraine is the biggest store of children’s books in Ukraine. It is a national collection of children’s literature, a research, reference, bibliographic, information, and consultation center for 1208 specialized children’s, around 22,000 school, and almost 18,000 village libraries, servicing children. Its funds contain around 440,000 books, magazines, records, CDs, slide films, and feature films. The library services over 18,000 children and specialists in children’s books and children’s reading every year. It is also an extracurricular activities center for Kyiv children.
