Expert Committee of the Small Cultural and Art Initiatives Support Program 2009-2010 Holds a Meeting
December 10, 2009, the Expert Committee of the Small Cultural and Art Initiatives Support Program 2009-2010 held a meeting at the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation headquarters.
This year 115 applications for the Program were submitted from all Ukraine’s oblasts, Kyiv City, and the Crimean AR.
The applications were divided into six groups: music, literature, arts, theater, folk arts and crafts, and interdisciplinary projects.
Six experts were on the panel, each selecting projects on their area of expertise. The head experts were:
- Serhiy Yakutovych, Merited Artist of Ukraine and corresponding member of the Academy of the Arts of Ukraine;
- Oleksandr Chayka, Deputy Director of the Les Kurbas Center;
- Alla Zahaykevych, composer, professor’s assistant at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine;
- Oleksiy Dolia, research fellow with the Literary and Memorial Museum-Apartment of Pavlo Tychyna;
- Vladyslav Pioro, Director of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s Culturology Dept.;
- Sofiya Riabchuk, expert with the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s Culturology Dept.
