Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko Meets with Experts and Winners of the First Stage of the Grants Program for Small Cultural and Art Projects
October 2, 2008, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko met with experts and winners of the first stage of the Grants Program for Small Cultural and Art Projects
In course of the meeting, the experts gave their evaluation of the project submitted to the contest, noting the importance of non-governmental support for cultural projects, since there are no other grant programs of this kind in Ukraine. Representatives of the winning organizations presented their projects to be implemented with the participation of Ukraine 3000 Foundation and took part in their discussion.
Recall that the first stage results were announced September 23. The total of over 70 projects was submitted from all Ukraine’s regions, with 8 winners being selected:

The v was launched June 26, 2008. Its major goal is giving chances for self-fulfillment and developing and independent cultural sector, which wouldn’t be able to implement its projects without support. The competition stages will be held twice a year within the project’s framework.
