Kateryna Yushchenko to Attend the Unveiling of First Specialized Museum Library
October 2, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation at 13E Frunze St. will host a presentation of the First Specialized Museum Library on the occasion of the start of its public work.
Among the participants of this event will be:
- Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation;
- Vasyl Vovkun, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine;
- Vagif Aliyev, Head of the Supervisory Board of Mandarin Plaza Ltd.;
- museum workers.
The project was initiated in 2007 by the Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Ukrainian Center for Museum Development. Its major goal is creating in Ukraine a specialized library for museum workers and students of museum departments.
The project’s sponsor is Mandarin Plaza Ltd.
The library’s priorities are, organizing free access to the book collection for museum workers and students specializing in the museum work, as well as providing colleagues with timely information on the book and multimedia novelties.
