Ukraine 3000 Foundation Receives SSU Award
The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation was awarded by the Security Service of Ukraine’s incentive award, the Star of Honor of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The ceremony took place August 22, 2008, at the Security Service of Ukraine headquarters. Executive SSU Head Valentyn Nalyvaychenko decorated Head of the History Lessons: Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 program Olesia Nalyvaychenko with the said award.
The covering papers read that the award was given to the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation for its “important contribution into restoring the truth about Ukrainian history, the Holodomor manmade famine of 1932-1933, and the champions of Ukraine’s Independence.”
Recall that in 2006 the Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Security Service of Ukraine signed the Memorandum on Cooperation, within whose framework the Declassified Memory collection of GPU-NKVD documents was published.
