Kateryna Yushchenko Attends the Pink Bridge Show at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank
September 23, 2007, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko and other Fund members attended the Pink Bridge Show at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank. The event took place with the support of the Ukraine 3000 Fund.
The show was dedicated to the 70th birthday of People’s Artiste of Ukraine Ada Rohovtseva, who played the leading part. The Pink Bridge is Rohovtseva’s daughter, Kateryna Stepankova’s début as a stage director. The show is based upon R.J. Walter’s The Bridges of the Madison County.
After the performance Mrs. Yushchenko and the Fund members met with Ada Rohovtseva, Kateryna Stepankova, and some actors playing in the Pink Bridge. Ms. Kateryna thanked them for the wonderful show, adding that she liked the Walter’s novel a lot, having reread it several times.
The Pink Bridge was Ms. Rohovtseva’s first performance at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank.
