Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund to Conduct Memory Beyond Time Patriotic Charitable Action

May 5, 2007, at 10:45 a.m., the Memory Beyond Time patriotic charitable action will start at the Bykivnia Graves State Historical and Memorial Preserve.

It is planned that in course of this action a part of the Bykivnia Graves State Historical and Memorial Preserve will be cleared of garbage. Specifically, the action participants will tidy up the sites of mass shootings of Ukrainian intelligentsia in 1937 and of Soviet prisoners of war returning from Germany in 1945.

The action was organized by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and co-organized by the PLAST National Scout Organization of Ukraine.

Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko and other Fund members will take part in the action.

The Ukraine 3000 Fund invites the mass media not only to cover the event but also join in the Memory Beyond Time action.

The Memory Beyond Time action is timed to coincide with memorial events dedicated to the Victory Day and commemorating the victims of political repressions, traditionally observed at the Bykivnia Graves in mid-May.

The action will take place from 10:45 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. The participants will be supplied with necessary equipment.
