Doing Good Starts with You Project

The need to help others,
respect for the seniors,
responsibility for your community,

In the academic year 2007-2008 the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund with the support of the Ministry for Education and Science, Ministry for Family, Youth, and Sports, jointly with the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, founded the Doing Good Starts with You All-Ukrainian charitable project.

We invite to participate children’s teams from secondary and vocational schools and after-school educational institutions, young people’s groups from colleges, members of children’s and youth public organizations and alliances.

Project’s goal: uniting its participants’ efforts, vision, and experience to revive the tradition of charity in Ukraine as a standard of sovial life and collective responsibility; instilling in young people and children the need and skills for charitable activities; popularizing children’s and youth philanthropic and social initiatives; supporting socially active students.

Doing Good Starts with You All-Ukrainian charitable project is Ukraine 3000's permanent long-term project. It envisages the contest of charitable projects, selecting and awarding its winners, and processing and spreading its experience.

We believe that, by teaching children how to do good, be gracious, and instilling in them the need to help others, we give them a chance to find their destiny, their niche in the society, and fulfill themselves social-wise.
