Launch of „The Good Begins with You“ Eighth All-Ukrainian Competition
The ICF „Ukraine 3000“declares the start of “The Good Begins with You” Eighth All-Ukrainian Competition of Charitable Projects.
The competition invites students of comprehensive, professional and preschool institutions, college and university students and members of civic unions and organizations to submit their creative ideas on charity.
The competition´s goal is to unite efforts, vision and experience of project participants in order to re-establish charity in Ukraine as a norm of social life and responsibility; to teach children and young people to engage in charitable activities; to promote children’s and young people’s charitable initiatives; to support socially engaged youth.
The competition includes two nominations. First nomination - competition among students of comprehensive, professional and preschool institutions and children’s organizations and unions. Second nomination - competition among college and university youth students, members of civic unions and organizations for youth.
Eligible projects must cover the following areas:
The National Competition Commission will chose the first, second and third place winners in each of the three areas (social, ecological, cultural). The competition prizes include money, certificates of honor and other valuable trophies.
The competition is run in four phases:
- Realization of charitable initiatives and actions (January 1, 2014 – January 15, 2015).
- Submission of the final documents covering the project realization (September 20, 2014 – January 25, 2015).
- The evaluation of the submissions by the National Competition Commission (February - March 2015).
- The selection and awarding of the competition winners (March - April 2015).
Charitable projects realized (completely or partly) within the first project stage (1 January – 1 February 2015) are eligible to enter the competition. Additionally, long-term and permanent projects with activities corresponding to the time frame of the contest are eligible for submission. Action and events occurring outside the competition timeframe will not be considered by the Competition Commission.
To submit a project, the application form should be completed and submitted ONLY in electronic format to email@example.com containing a subject line “Charitable project competition”. The competition entries should be in the MS Word format, in the state language, font Times New Roman, 14 pt. for the main text and 12 pt. for appendices, 1 pt. spacing, on one side of an À4 sheet.
The organizers reserve the right to publish the submitted materials in printed matters, on the foundation’s site and the competition’s partner sites obligatory carrying the name of the organization and names of the project leaders.
The deadline for project submissions is January 25, 2015.
