Doing Good Starts with You National Forum to Be Held in Kyiv
May 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., Kyiv city Teacher’s House (Kyiv, 57 Volodymyrska St.) will host the Doing Good Starts with You National Forum.
The forum is the final part of the Third Doing Good Starts with You charitable projects competition. Its key topic will be Forming an Effective Mechanism to Revive the Traditions of Charity and Encouraging Children’s Charitable Initiatives.
Representatives of the government, education, science, international and national charitable foundations, public organizations, having experience in children’s and young people’s charitable activities, as well as over 350 representatives of children’s and young people’s organizations, authors and participants of the best projects submitted to the Doing Good Starts with You competition, were invited to take part in the forum.
The Forum will feature a presentation of Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s educational projects, as well as presentations of the best projects-competitors, charitable and social projects and programs aimed at the support for children’s and young people’s charitable initiatives, rendering aid to young people and children.
Traditionally, at the forum the winners of the Doing Good Starts with You competition will be announced and awarded, and the Light of Doing Good honorary award handed over for considerable support for children’s charitable initiatives and active participation in their implementation.
The National Contest Committee has recently finished its work, selecting the winners and laureates of the competition. Also, the best projects were selected, whose participants were invited to take part in the Doing Good Starts with You National Forum, and projects to be celebrated by diplomas and letters of thanks from Ukraine 3000 Foundation.
