According to this year’s Competition Statute, if there are less than 50 applications from a certain oblast, the regional selection stage is skipped for this oblast. Instead, the winners are selected by the National Contest Committee, formed and approved by the Organizing Committee. If there are 50 papers or more, the Organizing Committee holds consultations with the competition’s regional partner on the possibility to organize a selection. If yes, the ciphered papers are sent to the regional partner for their consideration by members of the regional contest committee.
The results of this consideration are passed over to the Organizing Committee, which invites the winners of the regional selections to participate in the national selection, presenting (and defending) their paper to the National Contest Committee.
Business ideas, social projects, and projects submitted to the Students’ Essays nomination are evaluated by the National Contest Committee members in absentia. The winners (admittedly 20-25 persons) will obtain the right to present (defend) their paper at the national selections.
The scheduled of the regional and national selections, to be held in February-April, will be published at this website after February 15, 2010.
The final results will be announced and the winners awarded at the Ukraine’s Innovative Intellect National Youth Forum (scheduled preliminarily for April 22-23, 2010).
Recall that the Fourth Ukraine’s Innovative Intellect Competition was launched in August 2009.
The competition will be held in four nominations:
- Applied research on humanitarian and economical themes (suggested by organizers).
- Business ideas.
- Social projects.
- Students’ Essays research competition.
