Artek Dialogs: Day Two
Second Artek Dialogs International Educational Forum Continues at Artek International Children’s Center
September 19, on the Forum’s second day, the discussion of the White Book of National Education continued. The Forum participants worked in three sessions: Quality of Secondary Education, Coordination of the Development Vector of National Education with Requests of the Modern Real Economy, and Lifelong Education: How and What Shall We Teach Adults. Also a round table was held, dedicated to education for handicapped children. The events were held at Suuk-Su Palace, Friendship Hall of the Sea Camp, and Artek ICC school.
In general, the pedagogues expressed their high opinion of the White Book. They suggested their proposals and criticism, voiced by moderators at the closing plenary session.
Later the same day, a series of presentations was held at the Friendship Hall, in part, of the Artek ICC and Plast All-Ukrainian Scouting Organization. Also, the Children to Children project was presented to the participants, carried out by School No. 11, Dniprodzerzhynsk, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.
The forum ended up in a festive dinner.
The Artek Dialogs Forum was held September 18-19. Its major goal was discussing the White Book of National Education project.
