Kateryna Yushchenko to Award Winners in the Doing Good Starts with You Second Charitable Projects Competition

May 21, 2009, at 2:30 p.m., Kyiv Children’s Academy of the Arts (10 Heroyiv Stalinhrada St.) will host a plenary session of the Doing Good Starts with You National Charitable Forum carried out by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation.

The event will be attended by:

• Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation; 
• Ivan Vakarchuk, Minister for Education and Science of Ukraine; 
• Yuri Pavlenko, Minister for Family, Youth, and Sports of Ukraine;
• Lesia Orobets, People’s Deputy of Ukraine;
• Vasyl Kremen, President of the Academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine.

The forum will complete the Doing Good Starts with You Second All-Ukrainian Charitable Projects Competition. Over Ukraine 3000 Foundation its participants from all Ukraine’s oblasts are to take part in its events.

The Forum’s organizers and partners are the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation,  Academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine, Education Management University, Shkilny Svit Publishing House, Pozaklasny Chas journal, and other state and public institutions dealing with developing and supporting socially active children and young people.

The Forum’s key subject is forming an effective mechanism to revive the traditions of philanthropy and encouraging children’s charitable initiatives.

The Forum will feature a presentation of charitable projects, participants of the Doing Good Starts with You Second All-Ukrainian Charitable Projects Competition and sharing the experience of their implementation. Also, the winners of the competition will be announced and awarded.
