To the attention of the participants of the Second Innovative Intellect of Ukraine All-Ukrainian Youth Competition national selections

The Organizing Committee of the Second Innovative Intellect of Ukraine All-Ukrainian Youth Competition announces the schedule of the competition’s finals to be held March 28-29, 2008, in Kyiv.

1. The Organizing Committee invites 1st place winners in all nominations of the regional selections to take part in the national selections for the Second Innovative Intellect of Ukraine All-Ukrainian Youth Competition. Poltava and Kyiv oblasts, having submitted the biggest number of papers, will receive a privilege from organizers, in accordance with the Contest Status: the invitation to the national selections is extended to 2nd and 3rd place winners (Poltava oblast) and 2nd place winners (Kyiv oblast).

2. The Organizing Committee will reimburse all travel expenses to the participants of the national selections (for students – the price of the students’ concessionary tickets).

3. For the participants in Age Category 1 (secondary school students) the Organizing Committee can additionally pay travel expenses for an accompanying person (preferably, research supervisor or school teacher).

4. The results of the national selections will be announced in Kyiv March 28 and 29:

• Age category 1 (secondary school students) – March 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian House (2 Khreshchatyk St.);
• Other age categories – March 28 at the Pushcha Ozerna resort near Kyiv from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Buses ordered by the Organizing Committee will leave from the square in front of the Kyiv Central Railway Station’s Southern Wing March 28 at 8:00, 8:45, and 9:30 a.m.

5. The awards ceremony will be held March 29 at the Ukrainian House March 29 from 3:30 till 5:30 p.m.

6. Presentation format:

• For school students: presentation up to 4 minutes, answering questions up to 2 minutes;
• For other age categories: presentation up to 5 minutes, answering questions up to 2 minutes.

The presentations’ electronic versions should be either sent to the organizers by email or brought on a flash card and copied to the computer before presentation.
