Regional Selections Held for the Second Innovative Intellect of Ukraine Competition Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv Oblast



This week regional selections for the Second Innovative Intellect of Ukraine Competition were held in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv Oblast. The events were organized by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation and the competition’s regional partners, local offices of the Democratic Alliance All-Ukrainian Youth Public Organization. The contest committees included prominent pedagogues, public figures, representatives of the authorities and local business.

100 works were submitted in Kharkiv oblast. The winners of the Kharkiv regional selections are:

Every participant of the selections received a certificate of the contest participant. The authors of best works were awarded with diplomas. The first place winners will defend their papers in Kyiv at the national stage of the contest scheduled for March 28-29, 2008.

The regional selections for the Innovative Intellect of Ukraine All-Ukrainian Youth Competition continue. They have already been held in Cherkasy, Sumy, Luhansk, and Odesa oblasts. In addition, winners have been announced in Kherson, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea.
