Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Take Part in the Ceremony of Unveiling a Computer Class in Vorzel School No. 5
September 4, a computer class was opened at the School No. 5 in the village of Vorzel near Kyiv with the participation of representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund. This event became possible due to People’s Ambassador of Ukraine, founder of the Intelligent Business Solutions Company (IBS), Austria-born Andreas Gerblich and his wife Olena Vlasenko.
The event was also attended by commercial counselor of the Embassy of Austria to Ukraine m. a. Christian Hessel, head of the Supervisory Council of the IBS firm professor Furnsinn, head of the Ukraine 3000 Fund’s Today Area Olha Kovalenko, deputy mayor of Irpin Petro Liaskovsky, mayor of Vorzel Serhiy Kukharsky, and other official and public representatives.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Gerblich stated that innovative computer technologies mark the new informational era, making computer skills essential for a person. He also stresses that today effective working process is impossible without a computer. In his opinion, teachers should compose teaching plans that would enable their pupils to meet the contemporary requirement. “The opening of a computer class is our contribution into the highly qualified education,” Mr. Gerblich said.
Opening a computer class at the Vorzel School No. 5 is just another event in a series of charitable actions implemented in Vorzel by Mr. Gerblich and his wife Olena. Having settled in Vorzel a few years ago, the couple immediately joined the programs aimed at improving the conditions for children’s education and leisure and at redeveloping the village. Thus, in the previous years of the IBS’s sponsorship, a modern playground was built in Vorzel, a number of public and cultural events conducted, premises refurbished and computer classes opened at the Schools No. 5 and 11. Mr. Gerblich is planning to keep focusing on charitable activities in the spheres of Vorzel residents’ education and leisure.
Head of the Ukraine 3000 Fund’s Today Area Olha Kovalenko in her speech described major areas in the Fund’s work in the sphere of education. On behalf of the Ukraine 3000 Fund, she thanked the philanthropists for their contribution into the education sphere, which is important for the future, and invited them to cooperate in the sphere of human development.
One of the priorities in the Tomorrow Area is consolidating effort of the socially responsible business, public organizations, international donors, and academic science in forming the education of the future and raising people responsible for their future.
