Head of the Tomorrow Area Olha Kovalenko to Take Part in the Pedagogy in the Twenty-First Century Festival
Head of the Tomorrow Area of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Olha Kovalenko will take part in the Pedagogy in the Twenty-First Century Festival.
Ms Kovalenko will read out a greeting letter from Head of the Supervisory Council of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko and deliver a speech titled Education and Human Development: a Look into Ukraine’s Future.
The Pedagogy in the Twenty-First Century Tenth International Festival will be held in Odesa from July 25 to August 1. The festival’s goals are working out a New Age Education concept; forming scientific worldview and new ideas of the world and man’s place in it among teachers, educators, and parents; bringing to light innovative technologies in world’s pedagogy; setting new goals in the educational process on revealing inner creative abilities and suggesting new moral values instead of intellectual development.
The festival’s program includes the Second International New Education for the New Century Scholarly and Practical Conference, a contest – fair of pedagogical ideas and projects, the Fourth School in the Twenty-First Century Children and Youth’s Festival, round tables titled Family and Building Up the Civil Society and Indigo Children, summer school of the Civil Culture University , workshops on education models and new educational technologies laboratories; a creative workshop on elaborating and implementing the New School project, etc.
Representatives of various original schools and pedagogic trends will take part in the festival: teachers, pupils and their parents, cultural workers, art people, scholars, administrators and members of civil organizations from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and other countries.
The Pedagogy in the Twenty-First Century festivals are being held in Odesa since 1997. This year its organizers were Education and Science Administration of the Odesa Oblast State Administration, Fundamentals of Existence International Academy, International Academy of Universology, ONMTsOKIT Pedagogic Innovations Scientific and Methodological Laboratory (Odesa), the Education for Life Movement, Light through Culture: Eurasia International Association (Germany), Planetary Synthesis Institute (Switzerland), and Russian Chapter of the Association for World Education.
