Meeting between Representatives of Ukraine 3000 Fund, Embassy of Austria to Ukraine, and Vamed Group

The participants of the meeting discussed the areas of possible cooperation and implementing joint projects. Mr. Maksymchuk described the major stages of creating the Children’s Hospital of the Future and gave a progress report. The Kremenchuk City Children’s Clinical Hospital is a member of the Ukraine 3000 Fund’s Hospital to Hospital program. In 2006 the hospital received 20 glucometers and 50 copies of the Man publication within the framework of this program.  »»

Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Meet with General Electric Healthcare International Executives

In course of the meeting medical programs carried out in Ukraine were presented to the GE Healthcare International executives. Mrs. Yushchenko spoke about the projects initiated by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund: the Children’s Hospital of the Future and Hospital to Hospital. GE Healthcare International and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund representatives outlined the areas for cooperation within these projects’ frameworks, in part, instruction and training for Ukrainian doctors abroad.  »»

Ukraine 3000 Fund and TNK-BP Ukraine to Deliver Chemicals for the AMS Oncology Institute Equipment

TNK-BP Ukraine has earmarked UAH 60,000 (roughly $12,000) for purchasing annual chemicals supply. It will be passed to the Institute in three deliveries during the year. The first one is scheduled for late March – early April 2007.  »»

Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Meet with International Children's Heart Foundation Creator and President William Novick

In course of the meeting, Prof. Novick presented his international project on children’s cardiology and proposed the Ukraine 3000 Fund to join it as a partner. The project envisages research and analysis of the growth of cardio diseases rate in children in Ukraine and Belarus. It will be carried out in Kharkiv, Odesa, Rivne, Donetsk, and Kyiv oblasts. It is planned that the Odesa and Donetsk Oblast Children’s Hospitals, members of the Hospital to Hospital Program, will take part in this project.  »»

Memorandum on Mutual Understanding Signed by Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and California Association to Aid Ukraine

According to the Memorandum, the funds raised in course of the Benefit Ball held February 17 in California will be earmarked for implementing the Children’s Hospital of the Future project. The document envisages training and instruction for Ukrainian professionals in California. Besides, on demand by the Fund, the CAAU will consider a possibility to spend money on construction, equipment purchase and shipping, and other expenditures required for creating the Children’s Hospital of the Future.  »»
