Winner Announced in the Tender for Purchasing Defibrillators for Ukraine’s Children’s Hospitals

February 1, 2010, the Tender Committee announced the winner in the tender for purchasing defibrillators and spare electrodes for 20 children’s hospitals in Ukraine. Oleksandr Maksymchuk (Chair of the Committee), Rostyslav Zamlynsky (Deputy Chair), Vira Pavliuk, Taras Tkachuk, and Inna Holovanchuk were present at the meeting.

The winner was NPMTs Cardio Ltd. The Ukraine 3000 Foundation will purchase 20 portable automatic external defibrillators and sets of pediatric electrodes for them (10 units in each).

Recall that the tender for purchasing medical equipment for 20 children’s hospitals in Ukraine was announced December 25, 2009. The bids opening took place January 15.

The purchase of the equipment was conducted within the framework of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s and McDonald’s Ukraine’s joint action, the Happy Day at McDonald’s, raising UAH 1,000,055. 68 McDonald’s restaurants in 20 Ukraine’s cities took part in the action.
