Kateryna Yushchenko to Visit Children’s Hospital of the Future Site

August 27, 2009, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko will visit the construction site of All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, a.k.a. Children’s Hospital of the Future.

The event will take place at the Feofaniya clinical hospital premises at noon. Among other participants will be:

  • Ihor Tarasiuk, Head of the State Administration of Affairs;
  • Vasyl Lazoryshynets, Deputy Minister for Health Care of Ukraine;
  • Anatoly Holubchenko, First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration;
  • Andriy Nikonchuk, Deputy Director General of Altis-Holding Corporation;
  • Vira Pavliuk, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Foundation;
  • Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Head of the Board of Directors of Ukraine 3000 Foundation

We request media representatives to arrive to the site August 27 at 11:30 a.m.

The All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, a.k.a. Children’s Hospital of the Future, is being created as patient care institution of the fourth (highest) accreditation level. Seriously ill children, who cannot be cured in Ukraine at present, will be admitted here. The project has become the biggest charitable project in Ukraine’s history.

By Kyiv City Council resolution of February 19, 2009, the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health was allotted a land plot in Kyiv’s Holosiyivo district. Altis-Holding Corporation is carrying out land development on the site.
