Volyn Oblast Children’s Territorial Medical Alliance Receives Equipment for Children with Impaired Hearing
The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company continue their joint action to help children with impaired hearing.
Today, October 1, 2008, the philanthropists donated a set of modern medical equipment for treating such children to the Volyn Oblast Children’s Territorial Medical Alliance
VOCTMA received a diagnostic audiometer and extended-range impedance audiometer. Earluer similar equipment was donated to the Crimean Children’s Clinical Hospital at the Ministry of Health of the Crimea and Chernihiv Oblast Children’s Hospital.
Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company announced the start of their joint project to help children with impaired hearing July 18, 2008. The project envisages providing modern equipment for children with impaired hearing to four Ukrainian hospitals. The total value of the equipment is UAH 500,000.
This action continues the Healthy Ukraine’s Children Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company’s joint charitable project within the framework of the Foundation’s Hospital to Hospital program.
The Volyn Oblast Children’s Territorial Medical Alliance is a member of Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s Hospital to Hospital program. During 2006-2007, the hospital has received from the Foundation medicines, equipment, books, and toys to the total of over UAH 211,500.
