Winners Announced in Bidding Competition to Purchase Equipment for Children with Impaired Hearing

The winners were announced in bidding competition to purchase diagnostic systems for registering brainstem auditory evoked potential, diagnostic audiometers, and extended-range impedance audiometers for Volyn Oblast Children’s Territorial Medical Alliance, Zaporizhzhia Oblast Children’s Hospital, Chernihiv Oblast Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea.

The Contest Committee’s meeting, which took place July 15, 2008, was attended by Oleksandr Maksymchuk (Head), Rostyslav Zamlynsky (Deputy Head), Vira Pavliuk, Taras Tkachuk, and Lesia Lazoryshynets (secretary). The Contest Committee considered the bids and announced the competition accomplished.

The winners are:

  • INFOTON Ltd. in the Diagnostic Systems for Registering Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential bid;
  • Realton Ltd. in the Diagnostic Audiometer and Extended-Range Impedance Audiometer bids;
  • Aurora Hearing Rehabilitation Center in the Extended-Range Impedance Audiometer bid.

Thus, 200 will purchase one diagnostic system for registering brainstem auditory evoked potential from INFOTON Ltd.; four diagnostic audiometers and two extended-range impedance audiometers from Realton Ltd.; and another two extended-range impedance audiometers from Aurora Hearing Rehabilitation Center.

Recall that the bidding competition for purchasing medical equipment for four Ukraine’s medical institutions was announced June 25, 2008. The bids were opened July 7.

The equipment purchase took place as an extension of the Healthy Children of Ukraine joint project by Ukraine 3000 and Procter&Gamble Ukraine within the framework of the Hospital to Hospital program.
