Bids Opened for the Bids Competition to Purchase Medical Equipment for Two Kyiv Children’s Patient Care Institutions

May 30, 2008, the bids, sent for the bids competition to purchase medical equipment for the Institute for Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology at the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and the OKHMATDIT Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Hospital, were opened at the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation headquarters. Among the participants of the event were members of the Contest Committee and authorized representatives of the competition participants.

In total, three bids were sent to the competition by Paramed Enterprise, Ukrtelemed Ltd., and BTL Ukrayina Ltd. All participants were admitted to the competition.

The Contest Committee resolved to create the Expert Committee to process the bids, with expert with the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s Medical Programs Dept. Taras Tkachuk as its head. Independent experts will be invited to enter the Committee. Members of the Expert Committee will process the bids by noon (Kyiv time) of June 2, 2008.

The next meeting of the Contest Committee, announcing the winner, is scheduled for June 2.
