Head of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation Board of Directors Visits the Donetsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital
April 17, 2008, Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk together with Director of the Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation Anatoly Zabolotny visited the Donetsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital. Representatives of the Donetsk City Health Care Administration also took part in the event.
The guests took a tour of the hospital, talked to Chief Physician Volodymyr Maltsev, medical staff, and patients. They visited the Neonatology Unit, where neonatologic equipment is installed, donated by Ukraine 3000 Foundation, along with newborns’ reanimation equipment from the Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation.
In course of the visit, the charitable foundations’ members and the hospital staff discussed possible ways for further cooperation.
The Donetsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital is a member of the Hospital to Hospital program by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation. In 2006-2007, the hospital has received charitable aid from the Foundation in the form of medical equipment and books to the total of over UAH 175,000.
Mr. Maksymchuk is staying in Donetsk for a one-day working visit.
