Memorandum on Cooperation Signed between Children’s Hospital of the Future Fund and Kyiv Scientific and Kyiv Clinical Medical Center
November 29, 2007, a Memorandum on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Healthcare, Medical, and Scientific Sectors was signed at the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund premises between the Children’s Hospital of the Future Fund and Kyiv Scientific and Kyiv Clinical Medical Center.
The document was signed by Head of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Fund Vira Pavliuk on behalf of the Fund and Director of the Kyiv Clinical Medical Center Anatoliy Babushkin on behalf of the Center.
The parties agreed on cooperation and mutual assistance in the following areas:
- Creating a modern medical e-library; organizing an easy-access network for duistributing methodical and educational books on modern carriers;
- Holding joint workshops, conferences, round tables, and competitions among Ukraine’s medical workers;
- Introducing progressive new technologies (in treatment, diagnosing,education, and telemedicine) on the basis of evidence-based medicine and improving the existing diagnostic and treatment methods;
- Creating a research and education center for doctors’ training;
- Perfecting the legal base in health care, namely, participating in drafting Laws of Ukraine on transplantation, insurance medicine, etc.; a classifier of medical procedures and services, other legal acts regarding health care.
Such cooperation is necessary for solving common problems, since the Kyiv Clinical Medical Center, similar to the Children’s Hospital of the Future, is planning to create a big modern hospital in Ukraine, to become a medical center equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment devices, as well as a scientific and educational base to train skilled medical workers for Ukrainian health care.
