Meeting between Representatives of Ukraine 3000 Fund and L.I.C.O.S. Onlus (Italia)

October 9, 2007, members of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund met with representatives of the L.I.C.O.S. Onlus medical organization (Brescia, Italy). Among the participants of the meeting held at the Ukraine 3000 Fund headquarters were L.I.C.O.S. President Alessandro Cali, Drs. Dante Burlini, Vittorio Merulla, Stefano Negrini, Advisor to the Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Andriy Myroshnichenko, Head of the Medical programs Department Vira Pavliuk, Head of the Public Consultation Room Iryna Bakhina, Expert on Medical Issues with the Ukraine 3000 Fund and President of the Help for the Medicine Charitable Fund Oleksandr Etnis.

The meeting was dedicated to procedural issues and working out a program for the future cooperation between the two organizations. In part, they discussed the possibilities for sending Ukrainian children to Italy for treatment. Besides, the parties agreed to launch a charitable Medical Exchange Program between Ukrainian and Italian doctors to raise their skills and introduce modern treatment methods. The participants of the meeting put their intentions on paper in the form of a contract signed be Messrs. Etnis and Cali.

The parties agreed to create workgroups for preparing Ukrainian children’s trip to Italy and forming Ukrainian doctors’ groups to leave to Italy for training.
