Ukraine 3000 Fund Representative Takes Part in the Hospital of the Future Conference
September 18, 2007, expert with the Medical Programs Department at the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Taras Tkachuk took part in the Hospital of the Future conference. The event was organized by leading IT corporations: Softline Ltd., Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and Samsung.
The major goal of the conference was highlighting the experience and prospects for introducing innovative informational control systems and using modern equipment to introduce automation and optimization at patient care institutions.
In course of the conference, the tendencies for using IT in modern medicine were discussed, along with the implementation of the E-Hospital system at the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 12 and latest Microsoft and Samsung developments for the health care.
The issues discussed at the conference are extremely important in terms of using IT methods at the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health (the Children’s Hospital of the Future), in part, introducing telemedicine at this institution.
