Purchasing medical equipment for the Burn Center at the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2 has become possible due a charitable action held in Germany in 2005. Over € 630,000 was raised for Ukraine’s medical institutions. In February 2006, UNESCO Ambassador of Goodwill Ute-Henrietta Ohoven gave Head of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund’s Supervisory Board Kateryna Yushchenko a certificate, handing over this money to the Ukraine 3000 Fund, which acts as its disposer. One of the institutions to obtain aid due to this money is the Burn Center at the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2.
