Ukraine 3000 Fund to Hold a Press-Conference to Announce the Agenda of the Final Part of the Contest for General Designer of the Children’s Hospital of the Future

July 18, 2007, at 2:30 pm, Kyiv time, the Ukraine 3000 Fund will hold a press conference at the UNIAN Informational Agency, announcing the schedule of the final part of the competition to select general designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, the Children’s Hospital of the Future.

Advisor to the Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Andriy Myroshnichenko, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Vasyl Vovkun,  and Head of the Fund’s Press Service Maryna Antonova will take part in the event.

At the press conference you will learn how the selection of General Designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, Children’s Hospital of the Future, will be carried out, and how the mass media will be able to receive current information and cover the course of the contest, its important decisions, and finally, selecting the winner.

Besides, the participants of the press conference will describe further schedule for selecting the General Designer. For instance, July 23-26, 2007, the Draft Project of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health exhibition will take place at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv, in course of which everybody will get a chance to see the projects submitted to the contest.

The project to create the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health was initiated by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund in March 2006. This is Ukraine’s biggest charitable project. During the year 2006, the Fund’s workers carried out various events and presentations to promote the project in Ukraine. December 17, 2006, 11 Ukrainian TV channels aired the Children’s Hospital of the Future All-Ukrainian Telethon to raise funds for the hospital construction, raising almost UAH 250,000,000. As of July 16, 2007, UAH 261,333,841 was collected for the construction of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health. 614 physical and 5460 legal persons were among the donators.
