Winners Confirmed in the Second All-Ukrainian Grant Contest for Treatment and Rehabilitation Institutions for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Winners were confirmed in the Second All-Ukrainian Grant Contest for Treatment and Rehabilitation Institutions for Children with Organic Lesions of the Central Nervous System (Cerebral Palsy).

The contest was part of the Joy of the Childhood: Free Movements joint program by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and TNK-BP Ukraine Company.

The winners are:

2. Verkhiodniprovsk Children’s Home and Boarding School No. 1 (Verkhiodniprovsk, Dnipropetrovsk oblast)
3. Sumy Special Rehabilitation Learning and Upbringing Center No. 34 (Sumy)
4. Yevpatoriya Central Clinical Resort at the Defense Ministry of Ukraine (Military Unit À 1514, Yevpatoriya, the Crimean AR)
5. Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Hospital , oblast medical rehabilitation center for children with organic lesions of the central nervous system and mental disorders (v. Stanyshivka, Zhytomyr oblast)
6. Verkhiodniprovsk Children’s Home and Boarding School No. 2 (Verkhiodniprovsk, Dnipropetrovsk oblast)
7. The Dzherelo Association to Support the Disabled and Intellectually Challenged Persons (Kyiv)

10. Khortytsia Learning and Rehabilitation Multiprofile Center (Zaporizhzhia)
11. Svitanok Learning and Rehabilitation Center (Chervonohrad, Lviv oblast)
12. Ternopil Oblast Community Special Secondary School for Children with Poliomyelitis Consequences and Cerebral Palsy (Ternopil)
13. Doroha Zhyttia Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center (Uzhhorod)
14. Lebedyn City and District Mriya Association to Support Mentally Challenged and Physically Disabled Children  (v. Mykhailivka, Lebedyn district,Sumy oblast)
15. Children’s Home Oblast Community Institution in Kryvy Rih (Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk oblast)
16. Vinnytsia Oblast Promin Early Rehabilitation Center (Vinnytsia)
17. Doroha v Zhyttia Chortkiv Early Social Rehabilitation and Adaptation Community Center for Disabled Children (Chortkiv, Ternopil oblast)
18. Volyn Oblast Specialized Children’s Home (Lutsk)

The Second All-Ukrainian Grant Contest for Treatment and Rehabilitation Institutions for Children with Organic Lesions of the Central Nervous System (Cerebral Palsy) was held from February 26 to April 15, 2007. In total, 83 applications were submitted. The Expert Council meeting, announcing the winners, took place May 26, 2007.
