Representatives of Ukraine 3000 Fund and Oecumenica Non-Profit Organization (Greece) Visit Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Hospital
June 5, 2007, Coordinator with the Hospital to Hospital Program Taras Tkachuk and representatives of the Oecumenica Non-Profit Organization (Greece), Director Varsamis Georgios and Field Manager Papadakis Manos, visited the Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital.
The trip was made in accordance with the earlier agreement, reached at a recent meeting of the Ukraine 3000 Fund and Oecumenica representatives. Its goal was to study the situation on the spot and discuss the future aid with the hospital management.
The guests were given a tour of the hospital premises, paying special attention to the Newborns’ Anesthesiology and ICU, which is planned to be furnished with equipment within the framework of a joint charitable aid program.
The meeting between the Ukraine 3000 Fund and Oecumenica representatives took place June 4, 2007. The parties agreed to cooperate on the Hospital to Hospital program, providing aid to the Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Hospital. In addition to purchasing necessary equipment for the Newborns’ Anesthesiology and ICU, Oecumenica plans to donate a children’s reanimobile to replace the old one, equipped with a 20-year-old infant incubator and APV apparatus.
