Ukraine 3000 Fund Representative Visits Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 10’s Hospice
May 16, 2007, coordinator of the Hospital to Hospital program of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Taras Tkachuk visited the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 10.
His major goal was visiting the hospital’s hospice. Mr. Tkachuk was given a tour of the hospice premises, accompanied by hospital’s Head Physician Danylo Dobush, who briefed him on the institution’s problems. One of the most acute is lack of high quality beds and even mattresses. Besides, the hospice, where people with grave diagnosis can peacefully live out their days, needs major repairs.
Representatives of the Ukraine 3000 Fund and Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 10 agreed that the Fund will do everything possible to draw philanthropists’ attention to the hospice’s problems.
