Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and Embassy of France to Ukraine Agree to Cooperate
February 8, 2007, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, Embassy of France to Ukraine, and French Cultural Center in Ukraine. Advisor on Culture and Cooperation with the French Embassy Aiñha Kherroubi, Public Relations Representative of the French Cultural Center in Ukraine Victoria Piavka, doctor with the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (Paris) Mykola Miroshnyk, Director of the Ukraine 3000 Fund Hospital to Hospital Program Vira Pavliuk, Project Coordinator of the Yesterday Area Vladyslav Pioro, and Coordinator of the Hospital to Hospital Program Inna Holovanchuk were present at the meeting.
The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation. Ms. Pavliuk described major areas of the Hospital to Hospital Program activities and spoke about the founding of the Children’s Hospital of the Future. She also emphasized the importance of the Cardio Pediatrician Speaks to Pediatrician seminar scheduled for March 24, 2007. The seminar will be held as part of the Hospital to Hospital Program, with the participation of its member hospitals representatives.
In her turn, Ms. Kheroubi related the activities of the Embassy of France to Ukraine in the cultural sphere. Among its important projects, she mentioned the French Spring in Ukraine. Ms. Kheroubi acknowledged the Embassy’s preparedness to implement joint cultural and medical projects with the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund. Advisor on Culture and Cooperation with the French Embassy and Mr. Pioro also discussed cooperation between Ukrainian and French museums.
The parties agreed to hold a series of meetings to coordinate the details of further cooperation.
