Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Fund and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Present Modern Equipment to Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital
November 10, 2006, the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and Procter & Gamble Ukraine presented modern equipment for the Neonatology Unit of the Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital.
The presentation ceremony was participated by Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Director for Public Relations of Procter & Gamble Ukraine Vitaly Prokopenko, Chief Doctor of the Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital Ivan Hutsul, and Head of the Khmelnytsky Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Bukhanevych.
The action was part of the Ukraine 3000 Fund and Procter & Gamble Ukraine joint program, Healthy Children of Ukraine, becoming a component of the Fund’s Hospital to Hospital Program last year. The Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital received newborn intensive care workstations (3 sets), multioperational infusomat with enhanced reliability and safety level (8 sets), and a patient monitoring system with neonatal sensors set. The total value of the equipment equals roughly UAH 410,000 ($82,000). All the equipment meets highest international standards, is certified, and guaranteed. Earlier similar equipment has been presented to the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Children’s Hospital.
The Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital is member of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund’s Hospital to Hospital Program. Earlier the hospital has received from the Fund toys, books of the Man series, and surgical dressing.
