Dmytro Lyapin, Head of the Board of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation, and Volodymyr Kostur, Director General of the Toy House Network, signed an agreement to start a charitable project to equip playrooms at children’s hospitals participating in the Hospital to Hospital program throughout Ukraine.
Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Supervisory Council of Ukraine 3000, Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, Humanitarian Prime Minister, and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Ukraine’s famous rock singer, attended this ceremony, which took place at the Children’s Gallery Complex in Kyiv.
“It is really nice to know that our partners aren’t standing aside before St. Nicholas Day and decided to support children’s hospitals to create comfortable conditions for the ill children before this bright holiday,” Mr. Lyapin said.
Apart from the project, almost 400 patients of the Zaporizhzhya Children’s Hospital and 70 patients of the Kyiv Center for Children’s Oncohematology were given presents.
The Golden String Choir of women bandurists performed at a concert after the ceremony. Visitors could also see paintings and drawings created by young artists from the Malyatko Children’s Home.
