In his speech, Mr. Baublis stressed that it was important to render this kind of aid: “We discussed lots of ideas with our colleagues to take part in this project, but we decided the best thing to do would be to help the children. This is our contribution to the future of this country and the future of the Ukrainian nation.”

The Ambassador thinks each society has people that never forget there are people in need. He added that Lithuanian entrepreneurs were happy to help the Ukrainian children.

The participants of the event wished all little patients and their parents confidence, faith, tenacity and fast recovery.

The Ukraine 3000 Foundation and the Center for Children Oncohematology are implementing a joint project to provide the center with necessary equipment to transplant stem sells. Every year, almost 400 Ukrainian children are diagnosed with leucosis.
