Detailed contest conditions (ukr.  300 KB)

The purchase of the first-aid kits and electric pumps has become possible owing to a joint action by McDonalds Ukraine and Ukraine 3000 Fund. During the World Children’s Day at McDonald’s action, held from November 5 to 25 in 16 Ukraine’s cities, every visitor of a McDonald’s restaurant could buy paper hands, charms, and bracelets. UAH 900,000 was raised in course of the action. The Expert Council selected 30 hospitals in all Ukraine’s oblasts to receive equipment necessary for emergency medical aid.

The cooperation between McDonalds Ukraine and Ukraine 3000 Fund started in 2005. During this period, two projects have already been implemented within the framework of the World Children’s Day at McDonald’s. Due to the 2005 action, a family rooms block was reconstructed at the children’s oncology department of the Oncology Institute of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. In 2006, the Healthy Heart of a Child action was carried out, resulting in purchasing cardio equipment for 18 Ukraine’s children’s hospitals.
