Participants from 17 countries of Europe were taking part in the Junior Eurovision finals. This year its theme is Water and slogan, Make a Big Splash! The Ahoj Rotterdam center’s stage was decorated with various water-related elements, and in the end all 17 participants sang together the One World “water anthem.” Ukraine was represented by Ilona Halytska, 11, with the song Lessons in Glamour.

The Contest Committee resolved to create an Expert Committee for processing the bids, to be headed by Director of the Ukraine 3000 Fund’s Medical Programs Department Vira Pavliuk. The purchase of the first-aid kits and electric pumps has become possible owing to a joint action by McDonalds Ukraine and Ukraine 3000 Fund. During the World Children’s Day at McDonald’s action, held from November 5 to 25 in 16 Ukraine’s cities, every visitor of a McDonald’s restaurant could buy paper hands, charms, and bracelets. UAH 900,000 was raised in course of the action. The Expert Council selected 30 hospitals in all Ukraine’s oblasts to receive equipment necessary for emergency medical aid.

Mrs. Kateryna wished everybody a nice time and invited them to visit Ukraine.
