Winners of Third Doing Good Starts with You Charitable Projects Competition Awarded

The winners of the Third Doing Good Starts with You Charitable Projects Competition are 12 children’s and junior groups from 10 Ukraine’s oblasts. Another 20 projects became its laureates. All winners and laureates received diplomas and money prizes: UAH 5,000 for the first place, 3,000 for the second, 2,000 for the third, and 1,000 for the laureates.  »»

In course of the event folk masters, experts in making traditional Yavoriv toys, will give master classes for children. They will tell them about the history and importance of this wooden toys which is more than 400 years old and reveal the secrets of its technology and making. Two Ukrainian Films in This Year’s Competition in Cannes

This year’s Cannes Film Festival will take place May 12-23. It is most significant for Ukraine, since for the first time the festival’s program features two Ukrainian films. Ukrainian Cinema Foundation and Nemiroff International Brand Name to Present Ukrainian Cinema in Cannes
