Expert with the Joy of the Childhood: Free Movements Program Attends Academic and Research Conference on Rehabilitation for Children with Nervous System Impairments

The participants of the conference also familiarized themselves with the work of the Rosynka rehabilitation center, winner of the First All-Ukrainian Grant Competition for Patient Care and Rehabilitation Facilities for Children with Cerebral Palsy in 2006, which received a UAH 50,000 grant for equipping a swimming pool.  »»

Kateryna Yushchenko Visits Paleontology Lab in Chicago

Mrs. Kateryna familiarized herself with the lab’s work and exhibits and talked to staff members. Mr. Sereno gave Mrs. Yushchenko an account of his laboratory’s major researches and expeditions, in part, the results of the latest expeditions to Mongolia and Africa. He also described in more detail educational programs for children in which he takes part, aimed at arousing kids’ interest in paleontology and archeological research projects.  »»

Future Staff Members of the Children’s Hospital of the Future to Undergo Express Training Courses at Cedars Sinai Medical Center

The subject of the conference was the plans for training Ukrainian professionals for the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mother's and Children's Health, a.k.a. Children's Hospital of the Future. In part, the parties discussed one-three weeks trainings for multidiscipline teams of pediatricians, neonatologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, IC specialists, and managers. Ukrainian experts prepared lists of issues which, in their opinion, should be included into the training curriculums in each area.  »»

Currently, during the fifth shift (June 22-July 12) ten winners are staying in Artek. Another 14 are to go there for the sixth shift (July 15-August 4).
