Oleksandr Maksymchuk Appears in Big Poltics Show on Inter Channel

Head of the Board of Directors of Ukraine 3000 Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk took part in Big Poltics show, hosted by Yevgeniy Kiseliov. The show was broadcasted May 28, 2010, on Inter TV channel.
Speaking about the Children’s Hospital of the Future Project, Mr. Maksymchuk recalled that the creation of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health had been initiated by the state. “The Foundation supported the government’s initiative and called upon the community and business to join this great national project,” he said, adding that, immediately after the December 2006 telethon, a decision was made to sign an agreement with the State Administration, which, in accordance with a Cabinet decision, was the building owner.
“The money is there. It is in the state-owned UkrEximBank, everything to the last cent, even with interest,” Mr. Maksymchuk said. “Is the hospital being built? Of course it is. The equipment is there; the land use planning is over. We hope that all the project documentation will soon come back from expert examination. So, we have money, we have the design, and we have the desire to build this hospital.”
The Foundation is making much effort to help the state in creating the Center. The Foundation is prepared to further support the initiative, if the present authorities choose to continue with it.
