Ukraine 3000 Foundation Presentation at 2nd Social Investment Forum

May 7, a presentation of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation took place at the 2nd Social Investment Forum in Lviv, given by Head of the Board of Directors Oleksandr Maksymchuk.
Mr. Maksymchuk presented the Foundation’s major programs and projects and answered questions regarding its activities.
The 2nd Social Investment Forum is a public initiative by the Academy of Ukrainian Young People and Lviv City Council, aimed at uniting efforts by the public sector in implementing social projects, required for solving big cities problems.
The Forum took place May 6-7, 2010. Over Ukraine 3000 Foundation representatives of the government, business, foundations, and mass media along with international investment and donor institutions, interested in implementing innovative social projects.
Also presented at the forum were programs and projects by the British Council in Ukraine, Joining Forces organization, Renaissance international foundation, Eastern Europe Foundation, UN organizations, etc. May 7 saw the presentation of the Philanthropist of the Year national contest by member of the Supervisory Board of the contest Andriy Kulykov.
