Kateryna Yushchenko Attends Chervona Ruta Festival’s 20th Anniversary

September 20, 2009, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko made a one-day trip to Chernivtsi to take part in the events of the Chervona Ruta Festival’s 20th anniversary. Mrs. Yushchenko was accompanied by First Deputy Head of Chernivtsi Oblast State Administration Viktor Pavliuk and Chernivtsi Mayor Mykola Fedoruk.
Kateryna Yushchenko attended the Ukrainian Folk Modern First All-Ukrainian Triennial’s exhibition, dedicated to the Chervona Ruta anniversary and to the memory of Volodymyr Ivasiuk. The event, hosted by Vernisazh Cultural Center, presents 120 works by artists from all Ukraine’s regions: original fancy weaving, embroidery, sculpture, painting, graphic and applied arts.
Mrs. Yushchenko also visited the folk crafts, book, and Ukrainian music fair, which featured a presentation of Ukraine’s Red Book of Poetry, published with the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s support.
The same night, Mrs. Yushchenko with her children attended the anniversary concert by Chervona Ruta 2009 winners and guests.
