September 8, 2009, Director of Educational Programs Dept. with Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Oleksandr Oliynyk took part in a presentation of the Corporative Social Responsibility textbook, held in Lviv as part of the Fifteenth Publishers’ Forum. Aalso present were First Deputy Head of the Lviv OSA Valery Pyatak, Rector of the Banking Business University at the National Bank of Ukraine Tamara Smovzhenko, faculty members of Lviv-based colleges, entrepreneurs, and bankers.
The textbook was complied by leading research fellows of the Banking Business University at the National Bank of Ukraine. The idea to create a textbook on this subject came up in 2007, during Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko’s visit to the university, in her conversation with Rector Smovzhenko, discussing corporative social responsibility in Ukraine. The textbook not only explains the idea of CSR but also points out concrete actions aimed at its instilling upon people and forming a correct attitude toward money, the society, business, colleagues, and client’s trust for banks, bankers, and money.
The textbook’s pressrun of 500 copies is to be distributed among students, bankers, and businesspeople.
