Philanthropist of the Year Third National Contest is Launched

September 3, 2009, a press conference will be held, dedicated to the start of the Philanthropist of the Year Third National Contest.
The event will take place at InterMedia Consulting information agency’s media hall at 17/52A Bohdan Khmelnytsky St., Leonardo Business Center. Beginning at 2 p.m.
Among the participants of the press conference will be:
- Bohdan Stupka, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Head of the Supervisory Board of the competition;
- Serhiy Lietenko, President of Children’s World ACF, Head of the Organizing Committee;
- Svitlana Kuts, Head of the Philanthropy Information and Analysis Center, Head of the Panel;
- Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Head of the Board of Directors of Ukraine 3000 Foundation;
- Mariya Burmaka, People’s Artiste of Ukraine, Member of the Supervisory Board;
- Stella Zakharova, Honored Master of Sports, Olympic Champion in Artistic Gymnastics, Member of the Supervisory Board.

The Philanthropist of the Year competition will be held in Ukraine for the third time. Its goal is celebrating representatives of Ukrainian public for charitable activities aimed at solving urgent problems of our time and for promoting charity in Ukraine. The Ukraine 3000 Foundation is one of the competition’s co-organizers.
