Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation reports on fraud cases, using the Foundation’s name
22 July 2009 16:15
In July 2009, letters arrived to the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation from Zhyva Nadiya Charitable Foundation (Odesa) and Khortytsia Education and Rehabilitation Multiprofile Center.
These organizations’ heads informed us that certain persons had approached them, presenting themselves as Ukraine 3000 staff members. They offered charitable aid in the form of office equipment and software and demanded money for customs clearing.
The Ukraine 3000 Foundation puts on record that it has absolutely nothing to do with these or similar accidents. The whole Foundation’s activity is designed so that charitable aid recipients didn’t have to bear any additional burden, financial or other.
Also, the foundation has no regional representatives or branches in Ukraine’s oblasts and doesn’t provide any paid financial aid in any form.
Should any such situation arise in the future, please contact the Foundation’s press service at 8 (044) 467-67-80.
